About Us

Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya (also called Brahma Kumaris in short) is a unique Vishwa Vidyalaya (University) and a well known spiritual value based educational institution. The work of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya is inspired by the vision of world in which each individual has developed to his / her full potential & lives in harmony with others. Established in 1937, it now has over 8500 Raiyoga Centres in more than 145 countries. Its international Head Quarter is located at Pandav Bhawan, Mount Abu, Rajasthan. The Brahma Kumaris work to promote peace and harmony at all levels. Affiliated to the department of Public Information (DPI) of the United Nations as a Non-Government Organization (NGO) accredited a highest level of "General Consultative Status" with UN’s (United Nation) Economic & Social Council (ECOSOC) & UNICEF. It has received seven Peace Messenger Awards for their significance contribution towards the UN’s International Peace project.

Through its teachings, the institution has gained global acceptance and unique international recognition. The institution believes in the parenthood of God and the brotherhood of man and is open to the people of the entire globe irrespective of their caste, creed, color, age, social, economic or political status. The institution is working for the upliftment of society, world peace and Universal brotherhood through the moral and spiritual values. In 1986, “The Million Minutes of Peace Appeal” initiated by Brahma Kumaris for world peace was responded whole heartedly by the entire world.

Administrators

Dadi Janki is the Chief of the Brahma Kumaris and a world-renowned spiritual leader who is declared as the “most stable minded Personality” in the world.                                            

History

Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya was established in Sindh Hyderabad (now in Pakistan) in the year 1937. The institution has a very unique, unexpected and interesting beginning in an atmosphere of incredible divinity. The divine force behind the process of the establishment of the institution can be clearly understood through  some extraordinary events that unfolded in the life of an ordinary man called Dada Lekhraj, who himself had the least idea of what was to follow later.

Academy for a Better World is an Institution of higher learning, established by the Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya along with World Renewal Spiritual Trust and Raj Yoga Education & Research foundation.

Speaking with the authority of an increasingly large segment of civil society concerned with human and social values, we support UN programs over a wide range of developmental, humanitarian, value based educational and other issues. Our special competence brings a unique ethical and spiritual approach to world concerns and enables this approach to be clearly expressed within the broad forum of UN circles.

Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya along with its sister organizations Raj Yoga Education and Research Foundation and Brahma Kumaris Academy for the Better World have set up various Wings and Departments or Faculties that conduct seminars & courses for various sections of society. Seminars, workshops and conferences are held in order to share with them the applications of spirituality, the art and experience of Meditation for achieving excellence in their fields, overcome work related stresses and inspire them to have for themselves a code of conduct to follow.  Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya offers foundation courses in meditation through each of its centers spread across the world. At the heart of the course is a clear understanding of the relationship between spirit and matter, mind and body, and the interplay between the soul, God and the material world. The course enlightens people on spiritual themes and leads to self development and inner transformation so that one feels enthusiasm and attains happiness in life in all situations.

हमारा परिचय

प्रजापिता ब्रह्माकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्व विद्यालय ( जिसे संक्षिप्त में ब्रह्मकुमारीज भी कहते हैं ) एक अनोखा विश्व विद्यालय और एक चिरपरिचित नैतिक मूल्यों पर आधारित शैक्षणिक संस्था है । प्रजापिता ब्रह्माकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्व विद्यालय का कार्य एक ऐसे विश्व की परिकल्पना से प्रेरित है जिसमें प्रत्येक व्यक्ति अपनी पूरी संभावनाओं तक विकसित हो चुका हो और शांति सद्भाव से एक दूसरे से व्यवहार करते हों ।  सन १९३७ में इस संस्था की स्थापना हुई और अब इसके १४५ देशों से अधिक देशों में ४५०० से भी अधिक राजयोग सेवाकेंद्र हैं । इसका अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हेडक्वार्टर माउंट आबू, राजस्थान स्थित पाण्डव भवन में है । ब्रह्मकुमारीज सभी स्तर पर शान्ति और सद्भावना बढ़ाने में कार्यरत है । इस संस्था को संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ (UNO) के जन संपर्क के विभाग  (DPI) में गैर – सरकारी संस्था (NGO) के रूप में स्थान प्राप्त है, साथ साथ संयुक्त राष्ट्र के आर्थिक और सामाजिक परिषद (ECOSOC) और UNICEF के साथ जनरल सलाहकार के रूप में मान्यता प्राप्त है । ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ को संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय शांति परियोजना में उनके महत्वपूर्ण  सहयोग के लिए ७ शान्ति दूत पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुआ।

संस्था को अपने शिक्षाओं के आधार पर वैश्विक स्वीकृति एवं विशेष अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ख्याति प्राप्त है । यह संस्था ईश्वर पितृत्व एवं मानव बंधुत्व में विश्वास करता है और सारे विश्व के मानव जाति के लिए खुला है, चाहे वह किसी भी जाति, पंथ, रंग, आयु, सामाजिक, आर्थिक एवं राजनितिक पद पर हो । यह संस्था नैतिक व आध्यात्मिक मूल्यों द्वारा समाज उत्थान, विश्व शान्ति और विश्व बंधुत्व के लिए कार्यरत है । १९८६ में विश्व शांति के लिए ब्रह्मकुमारीज द्वारा शुरू किया गया “द मिलियन मिनट आफ पीस अपील” को सारे विश्व द्वारा पूरे दिल से प्रतिसाद मिला ।

दादी जानकीजी ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ की मुख्या है और विश्व परिचित आध्यात्मिक लीडर है जिन्हें “ मोस्ट स्टेबल माइंड व्यक्तित्व घोषित किया गया है ।

इतिहास

प्रजापिता ब्रह्माकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्व विद्यालय की स्थापना सन १९३७ में सिंध हैदराबाद में हुई जो वर्तमान समय पाकिस्तान में है । इस संस्था की शुरुआत एक अनोखे, अकल्पनीय एवं दिलचस्प दिव्य  वातावरण में हुआ ।  इस संस्था की स्थापना कार्य के पीछे दिव्य शक्ति का हाथ एक साधारण व्यक्ति दादा लेखराज के जीवन कालीन असाधारण घटनाओं के प्रकटीकरण से स्पष्ट रूप से समझा जा सकता है जिसके बारे में उन्हें भी एहसास नहीं था कि आगे क्या होगा ।

 अकाडमी फॉर ए बेटर वर्ल्ड (Academy For A Better World)

अकाडमी फॉर ए बेटर वर्ल्ड ऊँच शिक्षा हेतु एक संस्था है जिसकी स्थापना ब्रह्माकुमारीज़  द्वारा वर्ल्ड रिन्युअल स्प्रिचुअल ट्रस्ट ( WRST ) एवं राजयोग एजुकेशन एंड रिसर्च फाउंडेशन ( RERF ) के साथ किया गया।

संयुक्त राष्ट्र संग ( With UN )

हमारा वैश्विक आध्यात्म दृष्टिकोण संयुक्त राष्ट्र के कार्य व उत्साह के अन्तर्निहित आदर्शों एवं सिद्धांतों को दर्शाता और पुष्टि करता है ।  सभ्य समाज के विस्तारित खंड के अधिकारी से विचार विमर्श करते हुए जो मानवीय और सामाजिक मूल्यों से सम्बंधित हैं हम संयुक्त राष्ट्र के प्रोग्रामों को उसके विस्तृत विकासात्मक, मानवीय, मूल्य आधारित शिक्षा व अन्य मुद्दों पर सहयोग देते हैं । हमारी विशेष क्षमता विश्व की समस्या प्रति एक विशिष्ट नैतिक एवं आध्यात्मिक दृष्टिकोण लाता है और इसे संयुक्त राष्ट्र के मंडलियों के व्यापक मंच में स्पष्टरूप से व्यक्त करने में सक्षम बनाता है ।

प्रभाग अथवा वर्ग ( wings ) / विभाग ( departments )

प्रजापिता ब्रह्माकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्व विद्यालय अपने बहन संगठन राजयोग एजुकेशन एंड रिसर्च फाउंडेशन ( RERF) और वर्ल्ड रिन्युअल स्प्रिचुअल ट्रस्ट ( WRST ) के साथ संयुक्त रूप से विभिन्न प्रभाग और विभाग अथवा संकायों का निर्माण किया है जो समाज के विभिन्न वर्गों के लिये सेमीनार एवं पाठ्यक्रम का संचालन करते हैं । इस सेमीनार, वर्कशॉप और सम्मेलनों के आयोजन का मकसद आध्यात्मिकता के प्रयोग, योग की कला एवं अनुभूति साझा करना होता है जिससे वे अपने क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्टता प्राप्त करें, कार्य सम्बंधित तनाव से मुक्ति पायें तथा उनके पालनार्थ आचार संहिता निर्धारित करने को प्रेरित करना । यह विचारों के व्यापक आदान-प्रदान के लिये निजी क्षेत्र के विभिन्न शख्सियत ( व्यक्तित्व ) को साझा मंच पर लाता है और उनमें नयी सोच भरता है जिससे वे विभिन्न समस्यों का निराकरण कर सके जिससे आज के समाज के विविध वर्ग ग्रसित हैं । प्रत्येक प्रभाग अथवा विभाग समर्पण की भावना से विभिन्न प्रकार की सेवायें देते हैं । संस्था की सेवायें और सुविधाएं निःशुल्क है और कोई फीस नहीं ली जाती है । संस्था के विभिन्न वर्गों की विस्तृत सूचना नीचे दी गयी है ।

प्रस्तावित पाठ्यक्रम

 प्रजापिता ब्रह्माकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्व विद्यालय सारे विश्व में फैले हुए हर सेवा केंद्र द्वारा योग में बुनियादी पाठ्यक्रम ( foundation course ) प्रदान करता है । पाठ्यक्रम का अंतरंग लाभ हमें आत्मा और पदार्थ, मन और तन के सम्बन्ध व आत्मा, परमात्मा और भौतिक जगत की परस्पर क्रिया के स्पष्ट समझ के रूप में प्राप्त होता है । यह पाठ्यक्रम मनुष्यों को आध्यात्मिक विषयों पर प्रकाश डालता है और स्व उन्नति एवं आतंरिक परिवर्तन की ओर उन्मुख करता है जिससे वे उत्साह की अनुभूति करते हैं और जीवन के हर परिस्थिति में खुश रहते हैं ।
